Today Wisconsin’s Legislative Fiscal Bureau announced that school aid funding is being provided to school districts and independent charter schools from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF).
The Governor recently announced that $110 million in CRF funding would be provided to school districts and independent charter schools. The funding was distributed on a per pupil basis, using the current three-year enrollment average for school districts that is used to calculate revenue limits, and the third Friday of September, 2021, enrollment count for independent charter schools. Based on those enrollment counts, payments equal to $133.72 per pupil.
Franklin Public Schools will receive a payment of $581,406.
It’s unknown at this time how the payment will be used.
I think some of us know how it’ll be used. Towards CRT and DIE implementation.
