THE WEEKEND DOG-WALKING FORECAST: We grade the weather outlook for taking your pet outdoors.

Patchy blowing snow is also expected in portions of east central Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin from noon Saturday to noon Sunday. The falling and blowing snow will reduce visibilities at times Saturday night into Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

…Accumulating Snow Expected This Weekend… .Periods of light snow are expected over east central and southeast Wisconsin from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Snowfall of 3 to 5 inches is expected with a few 6 inch amounts towards Sheboygan. The greatest accumulation of snow will occur Saturday night, lingering into Sunday morning. In addition, gusty north winds will cause drifting snow as well as patchy blowing snow. The combination of falling and drifting snow will result in hazardous travel conditions developing, and will have an impact on Saturday night and Sunday morning motorists.
