Can the Milwaukee Milkmen catch the Chicago Dogs for 1st place? I say yes

As of this posting the Milwaukee Milkmen trail the Chicago Dogs by 3.5 games for 1st place in the American Association’s East Division.

The Milkmen have 11 games left to play, including three against the Dogs at Franklin Field. Achieving 1st place at the end of the regular season is not a must, as the Milkmen are assured a playoff spot. However, it’s always nice to be crowned division champions.

Down in Chicago the wheels have come off for the Dogs who have lost 18 of their last 25 games. Certainly they’re ripe for the picking.
