Today’s highly interesting read (06/17/22): Newspapers Work To Bury Opinion As Journalism By Dropping Op-Eds

The Milwaukee Journal  Sentinel used to publish a daily editorial page. Not anymore. So now practically the entire paper is one big editorial section!

Today’s read is from Casey Chalk, a senior contributor at The Federalist and an editor and columnist at The New Oxford Review. Here’s an excerpt:

Journalism, and especially print journalism, is an overwhelmingly leftist profession, and thus even “straight, factual” reporting is informed by not-so-hidden leftist biases. Therefore, reducing the openly marked opinion content in these newspapers hides how most media outlets launder opinion journalism as reporting.
