Last December I blogged:

Wisconsin’s Legislative Fiscal Bureau announced that school aid funding is being provided to school districts and independent charter schools from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF).

The Governor recently announced that $110 million in CRF funding would be provided to school districts and independent charter schools. The funding was distributed on a per pupil basis, using the current three-year enrollment average for school districts that is used to calculate revenue limits, and the third Friday of September, 2021, enrollment count for independent charter schools. Based on those enrollment counts, payments equal to $133.72 per pupil.

Franklin Public Schools (my school district) will receive a payment of $581,406.

It’s unknown at this time how the payment will be used.

Also in 2021 the Evers Administration bragged about investing an additional $2.5 billion in federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars to help Wisconsin individuals, families, businesses, and communities still experiencing the impacts of the ongoing pandemic. Spending went to all 72 Wisconsin counties, all 12 federally recognized Tribes, and every community across the state.

But just where have billions and billions of dollars in Biden’s COVID-relief measures gone throughout the country?

“It is appalling, and it is also unsurprising. Let’s look at the words that the department used in February 2021 when they passed this initiative or when they were trying to pass it. Many of us thought that it was going to be used for masks, for air purifiers to keep our schools open,” said Parents Defending Education founder Nicole Neily.

Guess again. As a former educator, Emmy Griffin has taught all grade levels K-12. She writes an eye-opening column in The Patriot Post. Here’s a portion:

Many schools in blue states misappropriated taxpayer dollars to fund “implicit bias training” and other forms of critical race theory education for teachers. This “implicit bias” and “antiracist” training uses the dogma of people like Ibram X. Kendi, who says things like this: “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”

They preach that white people in power have built the systems and institutions that in turn help them succeed. A person of color is oppressed and a victim as a result.

It is all a big lie.

Yet, according to the nonprofit organization One Nation, $46 billion has been allocated to implementing CRT in schools through “training teachers” and “educating students.” All ages and teachers are included. Remember when leftist politicians and their propaganda arm, the mainstream media, were insisting that CRT isn’t in schools, that it’s just a theory taught in colleges?

It’s this blatant lying as well as LGBTQ+ education that have turned parents into an interest group that is up in arms. Parents of all races and creeds can see the harmful and insidious nature of CRT. It is communist racism in a woke package.

Is there any recourse that taxpayers in those states have for this misuse of their money? Yes — voting these jokers out of office in the next election.

WI was not one of the 13 states included in the bombshell report. Still, it’d be a good idea for parents to remain vigilant.
