Today’s highly interesting read (03/21/22): Emma Weyant is the real woman who won the NCAA 500-yard freestyle event

Last week in Atlanta…

“Thomas’s defenders have tried to subtly change the argument from whether or not he should race with women to whether or not he should competitively swim at all. He, of course, should be allowed to swim and participate in a sport he loves — just on the men’s team, not the women’s.”
Emmy Griffin in the Patriot Post

Today’s read is from Christopher Tremoglie in the Washington Examiner. Here’s an excerpt:

Until sanity is restored in our country, records will show that Lia Thomas was the winner of the 2022 women’s NCAA 500-yard freestyle event.

It’s not as if Thomas is a swimming phenom. Thomas swam on the men’s team for three years and did not even come close to competing at the NCAA national championships. Now, Thomas is defeating female Olympians. This is not fair. This is not sport. This is cheating.
