QUOTES OF THE WEEK

“This community has gone to hell, the city of Milwaukee has turned, in some places, at some times, into a sewer. I think it’s something that needs more of a reaction from the community because what we have now is not just a problem, it’s a crisis.

“In the old days that would’ve been a fist fight, and I’d like to go back to the days of fist fighting. Because, not that I’m endorsing that, but two guys having it out and throwing a few punches and resulting in a broken nose is a lot better than someone pulling out a TEC-9 and shooting somebody.”
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Mark Borowski, as Milwaukee has had multiple record years in homicides and is currently outpacing last year’s pace

“Margaret Farrow was a trailblazer and a fearless leader. I am proud to have called her a friend. As the first woman to serve as Wisconsin’s Lieutenant Governor, Margaret’s legacy will continue to inspire many women in politics – including me. I was lucky to serve alongside Margaret for several years. In fact, when we served together, the majority of Republicans were women. Margaret was passionate, tough, honest, and kind. She believed in her community and believed in our great state. It is impossible to have met Margaret Farrow and not be encouraged and inspired by her.”
State Senator Alberta Darling on the passing of former WI Lt. Gov. Margaret Farrow

“Margaret Farrow represented her community and our state with a rare combination of political conviction and dedication. Her principled political career should be seen as a roadmap for how Republicans can serve with class and conviction without the need to resort to vitriol. Margaret always impressed and inspired me as a party leader, as I’m sure she did with countless other Republican office holders. Jane and I send our sincere condolences to Paul and the entire Farrow family.”
US Senator Ron Johnson

“Look, coming out of the State of the Union, we are in the strongest position we’ve been in, in months. I believe we have a record to be incredibly proud of.
Joe Biden

“Covid mismanagement. Surging crime. Empty shelve. Historic border crisis. Disastrous foreign policy. Record inflation, gas prices, and so much more…that record?”
The Republican National Committee

“Some people said that having Joe Biden as Vice President meant that President Obama had someone with many years of foreign policy experience. What they ignored was that Biden had decades of experience being wrong on foreign policy issues, time and time again.”
Thomas Sowell

“We owe the Ukrainians nothing, yet our garbage ruling class is demanding that we brace ourselves for unspecified ‘sacrifices’ for their sake just as they have every time they have made some foreign policy screw-up. We normals are their janitors – we get to clean up their messes and no one is ever held accountable. No thanks.

“You can still want the Ukrainians to repel the invaders without also buying the notion that we should sacrifice blood, treasure, and our rights to do it. This unjust war is the Ukrainians’ to fight. I hope they win. Most of us do. But the idea that we Americans must ‘sacrifice’ our lives, money, and freedoms is itself as great a danger to our country as this border war on the other side of our planet.

“We are Americans. Our first priority is America.”
Columnist Kurt Schlichter

“The Biden Administration has tried to pin the entire increase in gas prices on Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. They want to blame 14 months of gas price increases on the last two weeks of turmoil. It’s laugh-out-loud revisionist history.”
Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell

“I understand that the White House’s talking points are written by an 18-year-old intern who’s taking freshman socialism, but it would be good to have someone who has actually worked in the private sector and has some awareness of how energy is produced.”
Senator Ted Cruz

“I used to tweet, as a joke, that the Dem answer to high gas prices was to say ‘all the poors can just go buy a Tesla.’ And then, in the face of nearly $5/gallon gas…they actually said it.”
Rachel Bovard

“‘Just buy an electric car’ is the modern version of ‘let them eat cake.’”
Eric Matheny

“So Biden is banning Russian oil imports (which he should have done since the beginning if he wanted the sanctions to be serious) but is looking to substitute for those imports oil from…Venezuela, a Russian ally and authoritarian socialist state. Makes sense!”
Ben Shapiro

“Reminder: The Biden administration WANTED this. Their policies were specifically intended to drive up gas prices to force people into electric cars. This is not an accident, and it’s not just a result of the crisis in Ukraine.”
Matt Whitlock

“This just exposes how insane it is that … we rely on energy from authoritarian leaders and we are not self-reliant on our own energy.”
MSNBC’s Katy Tur

“The average gas price in America hit an all-time record high of over $4 per gallon. OK, that stings, but a clean conscience is worth a buck or two. … I am willing to pay $4 a gallon. Hell, I’ll pay $15 a gallon because I drive a Tesla.”
Stephen Colbert

“Stephen Colbert — who earns $15 million per year from CBS and has a net worth approaching $100 million — says it’s worth it to endure higher gas prices so that you have a ‘clean conscience.’”
Glenn Greenwald

“Sending Kamala Harris to Poland to solve the Ukrainian crisis is like sending Dr. Jill Biden to do heart surgery.”
Charlie Kirk

“It would be a tragedy if this woman [Kamala Harris] won the presidency.”
Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky’s former Press Secretary Iuliia Mendel

“The left’s overreaction – the left’s reaction to it (January 6) in some places was so over the top that it gave the opening the right needed to start introducing the idea of, ‘Whoa, these people are out of control. Like, it’s not as big of a deal they’re making it.’ [Because] they were making it too big a deal … and that gave the opening for lunatics in the right to be like, ‘Oh, well, nothing happened here. It was just a peaceful bunch of tourists,’ you know, and it’s like, but nobody wants to hear that.

“I know, I know. I’m supposed to be traumatized. But like all these colleagues who were in the building, and they’re young and are like, ‘Oh my God, it was so scary.’ I’m like, ‘F— off.’ … It’s not the kind of place I can tell somebody to man up, but I kind of want to be like, ‘Dude, come on. Like, you were not in any danger.’”
New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg ripping fellow reporters on camera with Project Veritas

“While I think Florida’s bill could go much further, I’m glad it only applies to K-3rd graders, because the left’s hysterical reaction highlights how pedophilic & predatory their ideology is. They are truly outraged they can’t talk to 5 year olds about sex and gender switching.”
Allie Beth Stuckey

“Make no mistake, the goal of the Left is not to protect children. From masking to indoctrination of children into Left-wing social values, their goal is to use children to protect their own priorities.”
Ben Shapiro

“If it takes a law to stop you from holding a classroom discussion with 5-year-olds about sex, you shouldn’t be a teacher. Actually, you shouldn’t be allowed within several miles of a school.”

Allie Beth Stuckey

When 9-11 happened, many countries not affected helped us out on the war on terror. They did not owe us.
WW2, did we owe Europe anything, but we got involved and kicked ass.
So, his argument is as smart as Senile Joe Biden after being given his lithium and sleep medicine along with a couple shots of bourbon.
