Marcelino Rivera took out nomination papers today to run for alderman in District 5. The incumbent is Mike Barber.
We must fight to defeat Rivera. If elected to the Common Council his presence would have damaging ramifications for Franklin.
It’s well-documented that Rivera is suing Franklin over his opposition to the proposed expansion of Strauss Brands in Franklin.
This about this. Rivera’s misguided and misinformed lawsuit is costing the taxpayers of Franklin…He is single handedly responsible for costing the Franklin taxpayers $1,270,800 in tax revenue annually.
Residents of Aldermanic District #5: DO NOT SIGN RIVERA’S NOMINATION PAPERS!
Rivera is not qualified to be an alderman.
He doesn’t deserve to be an alderman.
