Every Friday night we smooth our way into the weekend with music, the universal language. These selections demonstrate that despite what is being passed off as art today, there is plenty of really good music available. Come along and enjoy.

Thursday was Veterans Day. The patriotic week continues.
Congress passed the act to establish Armistice Day as a legal federal holiday on May 13, 1938.
After World War II took the lives of 405,400 as compared to the First Word War, in which 116,516 Americans died, veterans service organizations lobbied Congress to amend the 1938 Act by striking out the word “Armistice” and replacing it with the word “Veterans.” President Dwight Eisenhower signed off on the name change on June 1, 1954, making Veterans Day a federal holiday to be established on November 11 “to honor American veterans of all wars.”
Here’s my Veterans Day musical salute from 2016. Enjoy, and God bless our veterans.
