We as residents and citizens of Milwaukee County need to have our voices heard about Hales Corners Pool as well as with other County pools being open in 2022.

I would encourage folks to do the following now that the Milwaukee County budget process has begun for the next fiscal year.

1. Contact Milwaukee County Supervisor, Patti, Logsdon, 9th District, telephone-414-278-4267, email: patti.logson@milwaukeecountywi.gov

2. Contact Parks, Energy, and Environment, Committee Coordinator, Kelsey A. Evans, 414-278-4013 and request to be on a Parks meeting agenda to voice your support for opening Hales Corners Pool in 2022.

3. Email all Parks committee members- sheldon.wasserman@milwaukeecountywi.gov and have your voice heard through the written word.

4. Email all 18 Milwaukee County Supervisors and urge them to find a way to open Hales Corners Pool in 2022.Russell.Goodwin@milwwaukeecountywi.gov

5. Call the office of Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, and make your viewpoints known about Hales Corners Pool and wanting it open in 2022.

6. Email Tim.schabo@milwaukeecountywi.gov and schinika.fitch@milwaukeecountywi.gov to the county executive’s office and urge that Hales Corners Pool open in 2022.

7. Join the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool community email list and work with us as we begin our 19th year in February 2022 in our work. Since 2003, our mission is to keep Hales Corners Park & Pool open and operating and to continue to develop a recreational environment for residents in the Village and surrounding communities to enjoy.

We are recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization.

The bottom line is we need more people to do the heavy lifting right now during the budget process in Milwaukee County and get involved and have their voices heard with the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool.
