Clarence Page is a liberal member of the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board. That’s why I give him credit for his latest opinion piece on a highly sensitive issue facing law enforcement, one that gets scant attention.

“Police in recent years have been more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty,” Page writes.

That’s astounding. Almost unbelievable.
