More good Christmas music (12/21/20): The Count

Every day between now and New Year’s Day I’m selecting tunes or carols you won’t hear on FM Radio but they are certainly deserving of airplay.

Count Basie is considered one of the greatest bandleaders of all times. He combined blues and jazz and made swing a popular music style. The “King of Swing” died April 26, 1984, but his famous orchestra is still very active.

From a 2015 album, featuring a special guest.
