Franklin releases drone video of site of proposed Strauss expansion

The city of Franklin website has some cool drone video of the site for the proposed expansion of Strauss Brands.

Taken about 300’ up over where the plant is proposed the video looks due south toward the Metro Landfill.  Note the microwave tower.  The rotation goes counter clockwise, thus, east, north, west and back south.

You’ll see the end of Monarch drive cul-du-sac.

The grading and utilities being put in for the residential sub division along 112th street are on the video when the camera points east. There are also shots of Ryan Road (north), Loomis Road (northeast), the Drexel water tower, the DNR Wetlands (northwest), Hwy 45 and Champions Village in Muskego (northwest), Little Muskego Lake, the Muskego dump and back to the  Metro Landfill.

The beauty of this panoramic video is it clearly depicts the rural nature of this project.

Take a look.
