Don Chapman, right, a local Harley rider, gives a treat to Molly, who has ridden over 40,000 miles on a Harley with her owner Jim Tremmel. They were at the Harley-Davidson Museum for the annual Milwaukee Rally Labor Day weekend at dealerships throughout the Milwaukee area. The reunion of sorts for Harley riders draws crowds to Milwaukee ever year. While around 100,000 come to the company’s hometown in anniversary years, attendance is smaller and less predictable in off years like this one. Five dealerships are welcoming riders with parties, showing off new bikes and having live music to celebrate the company’s 117th anniversary. Photo: Rick Wood / Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
