Today’s highly interesting read (07/21/20): Are You Lonesome Tonight?

This is not a blog about Elvis.

Today’s read is from Stephen Moore,  an economics journalist, author, and columnist who served as the senior economics writer for the Wall Street Journal editorial page and as member of the Journal’s editorial board.

Moore writes about one of the saddest, most gut-wrenching realities brought on by the  COVID-19.

Loneliness is such a sad affair, as the saying goes, and our politicians have succeeded in turning America into a lonely nation by decree. We are going on four months now of lock-ins, business shutdowns and few, if any, social gatherings. What this is doing to the nation’s psyche has been devastating.

That’s just an excerpt.

Read the entire column here about what could be the unforgotten victims of the virus.
