Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended Democratic efforts to expand mail-in balloting amid the coronavirus crisis. Democrats have tried to include billions of dollars to empower states to expand by-mail balloting amid fears that voting in person will exacerbate the spread of the coronavirus.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said it’s “disgusting” that Democrats are pushing to include money for mail-in voting in the next coronavirus relief bill, dismissing the idea as unnecessary despite the pandemic.
“You want to hold up the bill because you want to change election law for November, because you think that gives you some political benefit?” McCarthy told reporters today. “That’s disgusting to me. … Stop worrying about politics. Worry about what’s in front of us. And that’s the health of the nation … and our economy.”

Here’s a brief excerpt.
Democrats know full well they can’t pass their radical agenda under normal circumstances because they lack public support. So they wait for a crisis to come along and try to take full advantage of it – with the help of their allies in the anti-Trump media. This time it’s the COVID-19 crisis, and the Democrats are using it to pass nationwide vote-by-mail legislation instead of focusing on defeating this awful virus and planning our recovery in a bipartisan manner.
Pretty serious stuff. It’s important you read the entire column here.
