Milwaukee County voters vote NO on the redistricting question Tuesday

There is a non-binding question on the ballot for voters in Milwaukee County on redistricting.

A “yes” vote supports advising the Wisconsin State Legislature to create a nonpartisan redistricting plan for state legislative and congressional boundaries.

A “no” vote opposes advising the Wisconsin State Legislature to create a nonpartisan redistricting plan for state legislative and congressional boundaries, thereby maintaining the existing process where the districts are drawn by the legislature and approved by the governor.

The vote Tuesday is a resounding NO.

Currently, both congressional and state legislative district boundaries are drawn by the Wisconsin State Legislature. It’s been that way since Fred Flintstone got into a car.

Because the Dems are not in control of the Legislature they cry foul, unlike when they’re in control.

Does anyone in their right mind really believe a true “nonpartisan redistricting plan” can be created?

Again, the vote is NO on a useless, meaningless non-binding question.

NO NO  NO NO NO!
