I find it comical and ironic that in attempting to make their case before the WI Supreme Court to delay Tuesday’s election the Tony Evers legal team attempted in their briefs to pass the governor off as a strong leader.
“Given the very real risk of losing more Wisconsin lives, and the guaranteed further spread of the dangerous virus, the Governor properly concluded that inaction simply was not on the table.”
The document goes on.
“A feeble Executive implies a feeble execution of the government.” The Federalist 70 (Alexander Hamilton). In this extraordinarily rare collision of the timing of our scheduled spring election, and the nature of the COVID-19 virus, this Court should not undercut the Governor’s authority to act.
“Feeble” is the best description of our governor.
