Coronavirus vs. Abortion: the numbers

Follow along with me.

The 1st coronavirus death in the United States was on March 1st. Local health officials confirmed that the man in his 50s died in Washington state’s King County. They said he had not traveled to any high-risk areas.

As of March 14, 2020, there were 58 confirmed deaths in the US from coronavirus.

That’s 58 death in two weeks. Could the toll grow. Maybe? Or as safeguards go into effect and behavior changes things could stabilize. We don’t know. We only know, and that’s 58 deaths in a two-week period.

58 deaths in two weeks.

NOW,  according to a report from the Guttmacher Institute that attempts to track all abortions in the USA, it counted 862,000 abortions in 2017, the last year data was available.

According to my math that’s 16,576 abortions per week. Over a two-week period that’s 33,153 abortions.

33,153 vs.58.

Where is the outrage?
