The initiative is being funded by Franklin’s hotel room tax and economic development fund. No residents’ taxes are being used.
And that’s fine.
There’s a reason the city focuses nearly 100% of the release on the logo. The logo has been referred to as a “small part” of the branding initiative. Does anyone recall the Boomgaarden (sp?) marketing debacle?
