I remember when I was in the 4th grade. We drew pictures and wrote cards for our mothers for Mother’s Day.
Mine had Mom in a long purple queen’s robe along with my story about why I thought she was the greatest.
Mom kept that Mother’s Day present the rest of her life, and it’s probably somewhere in my basement.
Yes, times were simpler and better back then.
