Today’s read is from Allen Usry who retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 2012, the highest enlisted rank in the U.S. Air Force, after a 30-year military career. Here’s a brief excerpt:

Corporations and charities have been generous in recent years in ramping up special programs for active duty- and retired-military and their families. But much more needs to be done.

What we can do, however, is study the consumer behavior of our military families during the holidays and figure out ways to ease their financial burden.
