MUST LISTEN-TO AUDIO: Mark Belling warns about the “debt bomb” (school referenda)

AN INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT BLOG

From the Wisconsin Policy Forum:

In the November general election, voters will decide on scores of ballot questions requesting more than $1 billion in funds for schools, a total that if approved could make 2018 the highest year on record for referenda dollars.

On his program today Newstalk 1130 WISN’s Mark Belling examined what he called ” the debt bomb” in Wisconsin. He analyzes size of referendum vs. size of community. Belling raises an issue the local news media will never address.

Click here and then click on the play button for 10/9/18 Vukmir-Baldwin debate. Referendums. Then scroll to the 29:00 mark (at the bottom) as Belling goes after the fiscal nightmares of those school referenda.

My blog isn’t Facebook or Instagram all the time. There are occasions you’ll need to read or listen to an in-depth item. I wouldn’t post if I didn’t think it was worth the time and extremely informative.

Please take the time and listen to this presentation.

Thank you.
