Today’s highly interesting read (06/01/18): What’s Great About America

President Donald Trump has pardoned conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza who pleaded guilty to a felony in 2014 over his use of straw donors to make illegal contributions in a 2012 Senate race. Trump said the filmmaker “was treated very unfairly by our government!”

From 2007 to 2014 I filled in numerous times for Mark Belling on Newstalk 1130 WISN. One of those years, on a July 3rd afternoon, I had the privilege to do a live interview with D’Souza, appropriately on his writings about the greatness of America.

This is an oldie, but a goodie.

From 2006:

America is the greatest, freest, and most decent society in existence. It is an oasis of goodness in a desert of cynicism and barbarism. This country, once an experiment unique in the world, is now the last best hope for the world.
