This month an Ohio judge was shot outside a local courthouse as he was presiding over a wrongful-death case…brought by his suspected shooter.

Nathaniel Richmond ambushed Judge Joseph J. Bruzzese Jr. outside of the Jefferson County Courthouse in Steubenville. Richmond was shot dead by a probation officer.

The judge was carrying a concealed weapon with a permit and returned fire.
