Abortionist: “Was a baby born alive? It depends ‘who’s in the room.'”
A new undercover video from the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released last week shows a Planned Parenthood abortionist graphically describing how to deliver aborted babies intact so that their body parts can be harvested, saying she needs to “hit the gym” before committing some abortions, and explaining she pays “attention to who’s in the room” if an aborted baby shows signs of life.
The video comes the day after CMP head David Daleiden and his co-investigator Sandra Merritt were charged with 15 felonies in California for secretly recording their conversations with abortion executives.
In the new video, Dr. DeShawn Taylor, previous Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of Arizona and longtime abortion provider at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, speaks candidly to undercover investigators at a Planned Parenthood conference networking reception.

DEFUNDING PLANNED PARENTHOOD: Vice President Mike Pence cast a tie-breaking vote on Thursday in the U.S. Senate to advance federal legislation that rolls back a regulation finalized at the end of President Obama’s administration that explicitly prevented states from denying federal Title X family planning funds to clinics, like Planned Parenthood, that also provide abortion services. PLW: Last session Wisconsin enacted state legislation that redirected federal Title X family planning funds away from organizations that perform abortions to public entities including state, county, and local health departments and clinics. This will eliminate $3.5 million from Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. We thank the U.S. Senate for enabling Wisconsin and other states to defund Planned Parenthood of all Title X family planning dollars, and we look forward to President Trump’s signature of this critical legislation.
IOWA: Hundreds of pro-life activists rallied at the Iowa Capitol on Thursday morning hearing from a line-up of pro-life activists and legislators, as well as, remarks from Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds. PLW: Iowa’s pro-life campaign, “She’s a baby,” is working wonders to reveal the humanity of children in the womb.
UNDERCOVER JOURNALISM: Two pro-life activists, David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, are facing 15 felonies for criminal conspiracy to invade privacy when they made undercover videos of Planned Parenthood officials. PLW: Undercover journalism is part of the bedrock of a free press, and California’s decision to charge Daleiden and Merritt is unprecedented. Videos of animal cruelty and abuse have been championed in the same state, yet videos of the reality of abortion are shut down.
MORALITY: I’ve always disliked conflict and held to a very private, considerably lazy, pro-life ethic. Essentially, abortion is sad – an act of murder – but I don’t really care what a woman does in her private life. It’s not my place to call into question her response to her life circumstances. Then I became a nurse. PLW: This nurse is now very vocal about her pro-life stance. Read about the transition.
KENTUCKY: The only clinic that provides abortions in Kentucky faces imminent closure, a move that would make legal abortion unattainable in the state, according to a new lawsuit. PLW: Laws that make abortion “safer” for the mother (despite always being lethal to the child), help reduce abortion rates. We applaud stricter standards for abortion facilities.
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM: A new California bill would prevent religious organizations (including colleges and schools) from imposing entirely normal and conventional rules of Christian conduct – like having codes of conduct regarding marriage for Catholic school teachers. PLW: This is a huge overreach and limitation on religious freedom, yet California exists in its own world. Expect push back from groups that work to ensure our rights to religious freedom aren’t restricted
