Let’s be very clear. The methods used by passionate souls who want to hop in the sack together have changed dramatically.

Josie Appleton writes in a recent column:

According to the champions of the doctrine of “affirmative consent”—lately gaining traction on college campuses in America and Europe—sexual consent isn’t something negotiated between two people or demonstrated by tacit gestures, glances, and movements. Rather, it must be stated explicitly, using specified terms.

As one person on social media succinctly put it, “lawyer sex.”
