This week the Milwaukee County Board is voting on a resolution filled with liberal clauses meant to express total frustration that Donald Trump was elected. The anti-Trump screed will accomplish nothing except waste the time of taxpayer-funded county supervisors, demonstrating that voters who decided the County Board should be part-time were correct.
Part of the resolution states “on these points we are 100 percent united.” That’s rather presumptuous to say the least. There are thousands of folks residing in Milwaukee County who, I’m sure would find the resolution not worth the paper it was written on.
That includes Milwaukee County Supervisor Steve Taylor. In a news release that contains a link to the resolution Taylor says, “It’s not the place of the County Board to engage in political posturing in an attempt to satisfy every liberal special interest group just because they lost an election.”
