Local TV journalism, if you can call it that, at its worst

I don’t watch the 10:00 news on TV. Ever.

Why?  Useless information to me.  Rarely top quality work.

A co-worker today asked me if I watched the Channel 12 News Wednesday night. I did not.

Channel 12 went out of their way to find an undocumented family to try to draw sympathy while at the same time bashing Donald Trump.

I make no apologies. Channel 12’s brief video failed miserably with me. No sympathy. No tears.

And there were others, especially across our southern border.

Worried about President Trump? If so, you know what? You have choices.

Do what you need to do get here legally, or…

Get out. See ya. Adiós.

Tonight there will be plenty of TV coverage of Trump bashers at a protest downtown. Apparently the fact that the people have spoken in a democracy is foreign to these dim bulbs and the reporters who were sent there to cover by editors sitting comfortably back at the station.
